There was the possibility of making it illegal to talk on the cell phone while driving. But I heard on the news yesterday that the Ontario government didn't feel it's necessary to make it illegal - just expect people to be more cautious.

Mcguinty floored me yesterday. He said "we can't make laws for everything"

COULD HAVE FOOLED ME!!!

Apparently Mcguinty likes to talk on his phone while driving. I suspect hes not a pitbull owner, doesnt eat sushi, and doesnt go to nightclubs There is no other explanation for this.

I love the dingbats that now want to ban cell phones.

No no, it didnt have anything to do with the bend in the road, THE ICE AND SNOW on the road, the lack of lighting and guard rails on the road. It's all the cell phone's fault.

I wonder if it was the cell phones fault when someone died at the same spot in 1956?

Hmmmmmmm

yup - it's all so rediculous - when will they ever look at the acutal cause of the problem and try to fix it rather than trying to find a quick and easy fix that please everyone in the meantime.

Although it's not the cell phone's fault... from my own experience, driving while talking on the cell isnt a good idea. If you encounter a situation, you'll need both hands on the wheel.

Read it today in the paper and couldn't believe it. That family has some bad luck. I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that phone call and hear my friend telling me their drowning.

Horrible.
