the worst part is the contact list transfer.

what i should have done was to email everyone from my hotmail, then asked them to reply (in hotmail you can change your reply address to whatever you want) and then i would have received replies from the people that obivously care about my address change and then fuck the rest.

you still will have to check your hotmail once in a while. and since you will need it for MSN, it not that difficult to do it one a day.

I know how to use Bcc, kind of. But when I'm sending out a mass email like this...are you guys saying that I should put one email address in the "To" field and all the rest in the "Bcc" field, and when each person recieves the email it will show up as if I sent it directly to them?

Put them all in the Bcc. And hotmail does it automatically.

BCC removes the email address from the header.. Nobody will see anyone elses emails.. you don't need any address in the To field..

k, i just created my second gmail account (the first i don't use at all).

time to start sending out the "use my new e-mail address" messages. this is gonna suck!

i just checked my gmail account for the first time in months.

i prefer hotmail. i've used it for years and i have no reason to switch over.
