I was talking to one of the guys at Groovetickets, I had originally asked to keep the tickets for a makeup event. Then I saw the refund in my bank account. Confused I emailed them asking what was up, they replied that there was no "make-up event" and that everyone that got their tickets from Groovetickets got refunds.

Did anyone go to Giant's 5th anniversary? Everyone that bought a ticket for NYE (supposedly) got in for free, BUT Dave Dean said it wasn't THE make-up event. That email also stated that Giant would be holding several free parties throughout the year but that they didn't have anything to do with NYE.

Short story: There's no make-up event, anyone that didn't get a refund got fucked. Eat the cost of the tickets and wait for Dave to let you in for free to see Jonathan Peters

Doesn't the article say that Gene from Circus let him go dues to semi shady work ethics at the door? The make up event is an excuse to prolong the situation of money getting paid back,

Plus doesn't Go Ventures do the 4th of July and if so who is going to try and do somehting like that as well. Who know and who cares, get your money back now as I have a feeling there will be no make up event as the article says bands and DJ's still are not paid.

i heard that the black eyed peas will come play at your house if you show your ticket stub

Maybe you could trade in that ticket for a hot dog comming out of Avalon and get something back?
