I remember this song form Oakenfold's "Fluoro" CD, love it! Is there more melodic goa like this?? I've heard plenty of previews of goa tracks on Beatport, but haven't heard anything that sounded melodic to me, just a bunch of bass and acidy noises. I tend to like my music warm and melodic...sorry i'm a noob at Goa, i'm an epic and progressive addict. I guess that "Raw Cane" mix is what i've typically heard Goa sound like, that sound doesn't appeal to me...
Protoculture, Electric Universe and Human Blue does very melodic psy.
Protoculture - More Directions
Human Blue - Rollercoaster
Electric Universe - Morning Star
MWNN's more recent productions don't do much to me but his older stuff from mid to later 90s works like a charm to me and Sugar Rush is among my favs.

Am I the only one who much prefers the modern sound that everybody seems to be complaining about? Is it just nostalgic value? I haven't been into EDM for that many years, I guess maybe you had to 'be there'.
I still find these topics pretty interresting though. Keep em coming!

No, you're one of very many. It's only natural that a lot of people prefer the modern sound. And I think it's more about taste than the "you had to be there".

nah then we would get flooded by people raving about as the rush come is the greatest classic ever!111
the idea of these threads of mine is to push forward really good old tunes which many today don't think much of and to present them to the people who recently got into trance.
