Plus one. It doesn't help that John Digweed likes to hype the fuck out of it every time people ask him about his personal favourites.

Yes.

Not to mention being from 1996, which is hardly "early 90s".

And 1994 is? (MFTJG) Or 1995? (Leftism)

Yeah, because if you round to the nearest decade, those two hit 1990, where as In Sides hits 2000. So pray tell me how the fuck an album released in the second half of the decade is "early 90s"?

And I forgive Leftism, despite being on the usual round-up limit of '95, because a lot of it was released before then.

Called me up on a technicality. Well played

Both are closer to the middle of the decade rather than the start/beginning of it though, so bleh to you.

True, but a lot of people prior to me did the same. I just thought it was pushing it a bit to go into 1996.

Anyway... I don't rate In Sides. This isn't an anti-Orbital dig because I'm a big Orbital fan, but In Sides really didn't live up to the hype for me. The first four tracks are awesome, but then it starts to get lost, and the 26 minute, two-act epic Out There Somewhere is just self-indulgent wankery.

It is a bit excessive, yeah, but it was the first album that came to mind. I'll give this a bit more thought and post again later...

Speaking of YAP, I had the chance to buy their album for 100 bucks. Needless to say, I told the seller to go fuck himself. (though in nicer fashion).

Never shall I pay that much for an only "good" album.

As for on topic, hm, well, they've all been mentioned.
