Because it (full on psy) is 1. All the same, 2. Cheesy, shitty and commercial, and 3. Doesn't classify as music the same way McDonalds doesn't classify as food.

1 & 2 may be the same in some cases, but you're tarring a whole genre by the productions of a dozen producers/acts. That's just ignorance, cos there is good full on, check Orion & Wizzy Noise for examples. Like all music you just have to dig to find it.

They're not good. They're, unsurprisingly, just the same.

Now I don't say there aren't any good artists - they're just very rare in this little semi-genre that has far overexceeded it's welcome.

But SynSun make good fullon.

I doubt that you heard that much full on to be honest. I've been listening to full on since day one and all I can say that the israeli full on scene started to get really overflooded around 2003/2004. Loads of acts popped out the same formula. Not much variation. However alot of non israeli full on acts (like Electric Universe, Silicon Sound etc) still made classy stuff in the genre and still does today.

I just got sooo tired of Fullon ... it's sooo overplayed
And that is not changed by the fact that there is still some good fullon out there (like Silicon Sound). It's still overplayed. On all psy parties I have been to in the last year, Fullon everywhere! Once more intelligent, once less intelligent, once plain stupid - anything but not original anymore. Gripping, good, driving, intelligent, nice, funky, cool, melodic, groovy - in other words just perfect psy sets have become quite seldom

You have to pick the acts carefully meanwhile. Full on clones overflood the market like a tsunami, dragging also the good fullon artists down into the sea of boredom. Progressive has remained still quite fresh and original - but the progressive is mostly not mainly refered to as psy by the big mass! Fortunately there are still some nice parties to go to - but for how long
