Heh, I think his current job is a tad more lucrative than being a lawyer.

You pick up this working girl who's hooked on smack, who hussles and scores. "That's all I do" she says, she says "Ten bucks for head, fifteen for half-and-half". She says "Three hits a day at 35 per", you say "That's seven tricks a day at least", but she says "Sometimes I get lucky. Once this guy gives me a bill-and-half just to eat me, only time I ever came".
You figure you can save her. You sell your color tv, that keeps her off the streets a whole day. You hawk your typewriter for one jolt. Then your shotgun, your watch. A week later you say "Listen I'm a little short", but she says "No scratch, no snatch". You say "Look it is better to give", but she says "Beat off creep".
One night they spot you on the street in your skibbies trying to sell your shoes. You tell them who you are, but they nail you. Then she happens by and she says "Christ you look fucked", she says "Hang tough!". But you don't say anything, you just think "what a bum rap for a nice, sensitive guy like me".

LMFAO!

Original mix is superb. Pumped up to 140bpm it sounds brilliant live. Strings in the breakdown are classic Armin. Alright its not original and its not big and its not clever but it does the job

Haha I know it sounds silly but think about it....if he takes some time off of DJing this club after this club, tour after tour, and then making productions at the same time....maybe he needs a break from the hectic touring schedule and just sit down and make some tracks and try his shots at being a lawyer. I just find it dumb when people spend $$ and time getting a college degree and never use it, I guess some people just use it as a status symbol or to just say "oh I went to college and I have a "blank" degree!", and having a college degree does look pretty good on a resume. But why get a law degree if you don't plan on being a lawyer? haha just my two cents..Having a break might be helpful, if it means that his productions will get better within time.

the entertainment business is not the most stable business out there. he actually attended school before he started becoming big and finished school when he was becoming big. it would be real stupid to leave school halfway just because you think you can be a successful dj/producer. who knows maybe his career ends in 2 years. that way he still can do something with his life.

Sure, agree with you for Communication, From The Heart, Burned With Desire or another wonderfull rare tune : Armin van Buuren Presents Gaia - 4 Elements, this one has such a beautiful melody...amazing!
Blue Fear has never been one of my favoites...
But coming to think of it, you guys are right, Armin must have much more to work on now...time has passed, things have changed...

Yeah true, I just think it's a waste of a degree. He should have just gotten a degree in music if he wanted to persue this full time, for the rest of his life. I am just pissed at his productions these past two years, I dunno, maybe he's just lost his production touch he once had. You can't be on top forever....

You guy are always arguing about good tracks...think about what you've done so far...
Are you that gifted? Your tracks are really far from being monster tunes, so please stop to show off and think again before crticising Armin...
