Hehe, I remember thinking the same thing when I was up front that night. I was drunk as all hell all night long, and I remember looking up on stage and thinking to myself, "Who's this guy dancing...?". Afterwards, when diddy walked off of the stage to get to VIP, I briefly spoke with him, asking him some stupid question about why he was spinning EDM even though he's a rapper (I was drunk, you've got to let it slide hehe). He responded by saying something like, "Hip-hop is my passion, but nothing beats a hard dance party with house music!". An overall good experience (no Rodman here!).
That, of course, is why I disagree with those that criticise the appearances of mainstream American celebrities in clubs. I think it adds to the fun of the party rather than take away from it. Now, if Diddy were there all night long, then it would have been a problem; as some clubbers that didn't know any better would be focusing on Diddy's antics rather than paying attention to Armin. But I believe that celebrities should go up on stage from time to time, but only in small doses.
