I like this, I could see Armin spinning this. I agree with Marcusk about the highs on your percs, they almost hurt my ears. I also think that you should make them a bit more intricate as well...they kind of get repetetive. Other than that, i can't find any faults - this is a pretty bitchin tune dude. Good Luck!

Andy

btw you should check out my SvD remix

Thanks kopi
and Andy,
I'll reduce the highs on drums to make it more listenable.
Thanks for the suggestion...what would I do without you guys?
Cheers

Hi,
I just updated the mix. The lead was panned more to the right to achive balance and clarity with the arp, drums were reequalized to achive proper amount of high frequencies and mastering was done fresh from scratch to achieve clean and present frequencies from low to high. I also got rid of the second break since it was repetitive.
Thanks for all the suggestions. It really helped.
I feel that the mix now sounds much better and tighter, but would definitely appreciate your opinion.
Please download the new file here:

Thanks again

Hi,

Nice production skills here, I like all the buzzing synths a lot. 1:58 - Nice sound, reminds me of Estuera. (like mentioned before) Don't like the part when the break is almost over... that fill-in doesn't feel very nice. It sounds like just a few bass slaps, and *Wham*, into full-mode.
The arp melody now makes me feel like I'm walking through a desert!
Try to work on the perc and rhythm. They sound a bit too "loose", or "slapping".

Thanks for the suggestions, I have tons of room for improvement and just the right feedback from the fellow tranceaddicts.
Thanks websley

very slick production

nice intro

The arp creeping in at .40 is very well done.

I think the energy sags at 1.00 and starts to dull. This happens several times. The whole track would be less dull and tight in a 3-5min format like the small spins. A 12in would be monotonous because of staying on transitions too long in my uneducated opinion.

The melody at 2.40 is very engaging. It actually reminds me of old cowboy movies

The break is great. No complaints at all. Probably the finest moment.

The arp, kick and everything revisiting at about 4.00 is very uninspired. This is really your opportunity to drop a bomb. You have 4.34 an acid-y lick faintly that really should be cultivated, but that's me.

I ended up wandering off from the comp. It is not unpleasant, and no way I would turn it off. It just sort of inspires you to wander around, socialize, chat, drink, etc. Perfect for a light housy/trance set, with a lot of sexuality. I bet the ladies love it.

I can't help you on the dj thing since it's not my kind at all. But I'm sure someone would help. If you don't get any takers, there's a dj in dallas looking for fresh stuff that would love this.

I _really_ dig that trancey sharp arpeg lead you have going in it, I think it carries the whole track and when you do the shifts at 4:28 it sounds just superb and great.

I dig the short snappy saw bass you do machinegun style with at intervals, sounds cool

The other lead sounds good, though I think it gets a tad too loud when you sharpen it in parts and could be cranked down a small bit in volume

Pumping track mate, great work!
