Read till the end, this is why women are their own worst enemy.....and men are always in command....
STEFANO "STEFANO FRISIONE" BENVE
This guy I had been talking to on MSN messaging. As we both had a webcam I could see him and vice versa. I really fell in love with him and him me (I thought) and he persuaded me to go to Italy to meet him at his expense, he would reimburse our flights (my friend was going with me) and he would pay the hotel. The day before he emailed me and said he couldn't meet me, so we lost our flight money and it was a huge disappointment. Plus, my daughter became ill the week before I was due to go, which he knew about, she lost the use of her legs and was finally diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at 29. Despite his concerned questions about her, he obviously couldn't have cared less really. I have spoken to him since and he was still saying he loved me, etc., etc., etc. Maybe I was a gullible fool, but with him knowing my financial position (broke) and about my daughters illness, I would not have expected such treatment. He said he was sending the money for the flights, even held up a number of £20 notes to the webcam, and was supposedly typing out the envelope to send them to me, all rubbish!!! I know he talks to people in the States, so if he's chatting to you, DON'T DATE HIM GIRLS! And even more important, don't book any flights to Italy on the strength of what he tells you, it's all lies.

ANOTHER PERSON'S OPINION OF STEFANO:
I have an update for one of your previously posted cheaters, Stefano Benve in Genoa, Italy. His real name is Stefano Frisione. He is 46, 5'9" tall, about 150 pounds, dark brown hair and green eyes. He also uses the name Marco on yahoo. He contacted me through yahoo personals in June and we chatted online, eventually via webcam & voice. He would call me practically every day during the week. He also asked me to come visit him and I also agreed as long as I could bring a friend along. He offered to pay my way and for a hotel. The differences in my experience and that of the other person who posted is that he sent me the money for my plane fare via western union and we did take the trip in August. He did pay for a hotel room and essentially paid for everything the entire trp except our personal purchases of souvenirs, etc. We met and spent quite a bit of time with his parents, met his friends, etc. He and his family were very generous. Once I came back to the States, I realized I had left a pair of Converse there that I had bought for my daughter. He couldn't locate them for a time, but eventually did locate them and told me. Said he would send them to me in a couple days. The same week, he also asked me to spend New Years with him in The Bahamas. I've not heard a thing from him since that time, nor have I ever received my daughter's shoes even though I have sent him numerous emails and text messages, even providing him with a federal express account number to use whereby all he would have to do is call them to pick the package up. I have been to his house, on his boat, to his business, and his parents country house. I have accurate addresses and phone numbers for him, so I suppose the guy is just a player and a jerk. Lucky for me, I got a nice vacation and am only out a pair of $85 shoes.

ANOTHER WOMAN'S OPINION OF STEFANO:
In reply to the last persons post, I am still in contact with Stefano - stupidly maybe - but he seems so sincere, etc., he said he would come over for the weekend and fetch my money with him (£150) which he owed me for my wasted flights, and the gift he had bought me (yeah right!!). I was a bit dubious after him letting me down the last time, but anyway, rushed round cleaning the house, bought food etc., bought a coach ticket to the airport to meet him, but the evening before I got a text saying he was ill and could not meet me - surprise, surprise!! Still spoke to him after a few weeks and gave him the benefit of the doubt, he is such a charmer and so believable, but I am starting to see the error of my ways. Like the person before, I have his shop website, with the address etc., have seen his family on the webcam, the boat, etc., but he is like quicksilver, disappears very soon, and you never know where he's gone to or with who. Very disappointed, but I should have known better obviously. I'm pretty rusty at this dating lark, not having had a relationship for a long time, so this sort of disappointment comes very hard to me.

UPDATE:
01/06
He sent my shoes along with some Italian chocolates, so I have no issue with him any more.
