DnB is not very big in Montreal as compared to Toronto.

But if you're looking for a SICK SICK party town, Montreal is the way to go. Don't get me started on how Montreal destroys Toronto. Let's see, girls, partying, culture, hockey, joie de vivre

Yeah man I was actually thinking of applying to Intermedia myself, I know someone who's in it...

It's basically lots of Photoshop, Flash and stuff like that, and just learning a lot of the computer aspect of the media.

Sounded interesting, but I applied to Communications and to Journalism, I really hope I get accepted! Haven't heard anything back yet.

Buncha cor whores gonna b at Concordia w0000t.

I was there last summer, met up with some friends in mcgill, bunch of drum and bass djs, they said the french people stuck to house and trance, while most of the english speaking people were more into dnb.. have no idea how valid this statement is...

I think there might be some truth to that, when i was younger (16) heheh i was REALLY into, DnB, acid jazz all that weird stuff and whenever i went to these random weird parties there was always ALOT of english ppl.

You can get by totally fine in montreal without speaking french, i dont speak french and i was fine.

hahahahahahah dnb... never really understood that music...

You want TRANCE... go to Toronto

You want HOUSE... come to Montreal

Breaking into the EDM scene won't be a problem if you post on these boards. I know a ton of people who can't speak a word of french but manage to survive in Montreal. You'll find everything here EDM wise, but HOUSE will always lead the pact.

Trust me if you like to party, DJ, and generally chill in an incredible city, Montreal is your only option. Hope to see you at a party soon!

K that's a pretty stupid statement to make....You can't just say EVERYONE gets into Concordia, it depends what program you're applying to. I know the programs I applied to (Communications and Journalism) accept about a third of the applicants. If you apply to something where you don't need a letter of intent or a portfolio or something, sure your chances are higher. But not EVERYONE gets into Concordia.

I am a house lover, so this works.. House house house...

I dj a lot and have in a lot of cities, its just always a little daunting coming to a new city and getting up.. many of you may have seen or heard about my mixes, every month up on teh dj promotion forum.. and my sigs.. :P I think I really want to come to montreal so im going to try and defer my acceptance to U of T and see if i like the program at concordia.. if i dont ill go do the whole liberal arts thing.. or who knows..

Thanks everyone!

Any other suggestions or comments please!
