i think actually know just about every thing you can do to ride

cymbals in terms of eq (highpass)/compression (hefty)/verb/..cutting of the attack phase (so you loose the ting and it get's more white-noise-like) /sidechain them with the kick/distort/etc. etc.

that would have been a few general answers. what's so wide about that?

yeah that's pretty exact...well cool...seems like you know what you're talking about...so what about to put up a sample? if you want I can host a little sample of a song which has rides like those you wanted...then maybe someone can help you out
