Thanks for your opinion on things. The reason why our shows were bigger and "better" as you put them was due to the venues available to us at the time.

The reality is, Twisted is here to stay. We are actually right now even working with the city and trying to legalize more larger venues. The City of Vancouver unfortunately is sometimes challenging to work with. Case and point - The Station. This new venue was broken in by Savio on New Years. The venues capacity upon opening was over 1000 people -- the city recently reduced it to 775 people to discourage booking large parties/headliners/DJ's in there because they know with the lower capacity that we can't afford to throw the show.

That is an example of the politics that we as promoters have to go through day in and day out.

Solid throws some good shows and I agree IMF had a good line-up. Let's not forget that that to date, Twisted has thrown the largest attended party in that venue with over 5600 people in attendance at Spooky 6.

Thanks again for your feedback, we'll keep doing what we're doing as the shows are selling out and will work as hard as we can to legalize more venues and continue to bring world class talent.

Twisted, due to it's affiliations, business structure, and experience, is the most professional of all the 'rave' companies (though PH1 is still the king of club shows). Between TAZ, Twisted and CARGO (plus Boodang in Calgary) you have companies with enough capital to bring headliners consistently. Having thrown 50+ successful events and at all the city venues, past and present, these companies are the most likely to get city council approval. Everyone knows im not exactly pro-twisted because i generally dislike their headliners for being too hard house and for other reasons which really shouldnt matter to anyone. However it should be now fairly obvious that twisted is much stronger than we give them credit for.

^ Thanks for that note.

The reality is, Twisted AND CARGO need companies like PH1, Agroculture, Spectrum, Silverwaters and the likes to offer even more diversity to Vancouver peeps. There is absolutely no way we can ever cater to everyone's listening tastes.

I just hope the city will work "with" us and not "against" us like a lot of other cities do across Canada and abroad.

Well its 3:15 and im at home. WEAKKKKK. Great set up, good everything, but weak music. Cosmic Gate's new album is gonna be weaaaaaakkk. They changed the time slots and krys missed bossi, im sure hes pissed now. I spent $65 to hear 3 good tracks, including Tiesto - Urban Train (Cosmic Gate Remix).

Alot of people were dissapointed. It wasnt that the set was bad, it was just too slow, like 132-135 the whole time... and everytime he got fast, he slowed it down again. Total frustration! Also he went all cds, which means no more turntable tricks (which the duo is well known for). A whole set of Techy prog (ala Vlado but not as good) was a dissapointing surprise.

Still, Stefan was a very nice guy, signing a huge stack of records, chatting for a while, laughing, its just a shame things didnt turn out well.
