I too have a nec and it is good

gonna upgrade my slow old pioneer 2x for a pioneer 16x. got some cheap media, so i'll get a trustworthy burner for them.

Pioneer/nec is better than plextor when it comes to dvd burning...plextor is the best for cd-r!
