For programs that support 64 bit processing they are farking fast its quite noticable! 32 bit stuff runs very very fast as well due to the clock speed of the cpu itself. I haven't had a real chance to use intense audio or graphic's programs yet but basically they will see the real benefits of 64bit processing....

Yeah no doubt about that but as i said drivers are problematic and vista is arround the corner...
IMO wait till vista for 64bit or get a mac

as for the sonar-32bit-bridge... i have seen many problems with vsti's so I switched back to win32

Been thinking about making the hardware move up myself, but totally switchin to 64bit OS is another story . From what I have googled so far AMD64 bit is rocksolid but some MoBos can give problems
Slighty offtopic, but someone mentioned waiting for Vista. I read it has been pushed back to early 2007 instead of late 2006. Think they found some bugs and need an extra couple of months . Seriously tho, think it has been set back a month or two.

Hmm... Guess I'll still have to bear using WinXP Then.
I'll give WinXP 64bit a shot later on, if I'm convinced I'll let you guys know.
