and i respect your opinion, for all i care, you could be the greatest britney fan, but imo he sux, using that guitar string over and over and over, and then some more.......maybe if he used something completely different, more underground that i would change my opinion but i dont see that happening any time soon (maybe when hell freezes over)

I don't have a problem with an artist being commercial - or at least producing stuff that makes it big commercially - but ATB just lacks an any real edge as a serious electronic producer, which is why I place him on the Alice Deejay/Sash! pedestal as a euro-pop producer who has failed to impress me with a single thing he's done.

Maybe the new album will be brilliant - and I am prepared to reserve judgement until I hear it - but if it's anything like his other stuff then don't expect me to be jumping around with joy when it is released.

ok you do that and afterwards ill award you with a "coolest person of the year" medal for being so creative and clever.

also just a side note, im not saying this is the best album by an electronic artist ive ever heard, but i think atb has broken through much of the rehashed song synths and begun to develop more unique sounds. Not all the songs on this album are great, but i dont care becuase there are enough songs on here that make me enjoy atb's 'happy' music style. Thanks for the posts and replies

ATB has been getting better at producing music and has moved on past his "boingy boing" sound in his 2nd album. i really think he is maturing as an artist, and yep this man has gone some skills to spin. listen to his remix of Signums "First Strike" is amazing. and about ATB being a sell out, when did he? all i remember is that he made a song and the radio played the shit outta it. if Matt Darey was on your radio, lemme guess, he is an instant sell out. i think i win

for me, ATB is a better dj than a producer. he should start a new career as a dj not as producer or do more collaborations to improve his skillz. his compilations cds are better than his own cds. all of his music videos sucks or dont make any senses. matt darey never sold out to anyone.
