I really dont know what ASOT 2006 means, is it the best tracks from 2005? or all new tracks for 2006?

It's basically a mix compilation by Armin, only given the name of ASOT because it will increase sales since the show is popular. How can I determine this? Well, I haven't heard Yoshimoto - Du What You Du on any ASOT ever. Maybe someone can prove me wrong, but seeing as how I first heard that song back in 2004, one would think I would have heard it or seen it on ASOT before 2006.

If you don't like something then don't listen to it, let alone listen to both one after the other.

While I don't listen live, I do look at the tracklists for Markus Schulz's GDJB show and he played it 2 or 3 weeks in a row back in like January or February.

It's not a trance track, but since trance productions have been not so hot lately, they're borrowing from other genres to appeal to the listeners that they're losing to the others. Same deal with Pryda - Aftermath

Well, yeah, it's been on GDJB, but GDJB isn't ASOT.

I've never really like Markus' show, but I used to like ASOT. Now I don't like either because they might as well be the same show, IMO.

Also, they're both on Armada, so take from that what you will.

Lastly, I did a search on Armin's site, the Yoshimoto track hasn't been on his show, yet.

While I agree with you, it also makes me happy to hear other genres being played out in the clubs so long as it sounds good in the set. Going to see Armin or any other trance dj, of course I wanna hear trance but hearing a few house or techno tracks doesn't bother me at all. Nice to get a little variety in a 4+ hour set I think.
