The rare occasion where I did coke and spun, it was horrible. I could not listen to two songs at once, my mind would just zone in on one sound coming from my headphones. It was really good stuff

I like a few drinks and some weed to get in the groove. A couple beers do a great job of helping to loosen up, and as they make my head swirl a little, I think my track selection becomes a bit more interesting.

I spun once on E, and I was either dead fucking on (beatmatching and EQing wise) or it was a complete and total wreck. Thankfully the good mixes outweighed the bad by about 5 to 1, but its still not something I would try live

first club set i had to do, i was nervious as fuck, dropped half a biki, i was over the moon, recorded the set, wasnt all that bad...

You can spin on e, just not well, but you can spin.

Eye wiggles pwn knob movement and finding out what track you're on.

tried it, man it was intense - it was fun, yet frustrating! haha, would I ever spin on the influence again? No way!

Spinning on E, my experience has been that I got totally lost in the track and started dancing and forgot to mix out. But I was REALLY fucking high. The only other time i've done it was with e, k, coke, and alc. I was high, rolling, k-hole, and drunk. Did pretty well, although I dont' remember much of the night, people were dancing and having a blast. And that's what really matters. I say for the first time though, vodka cranberries and some blow is the best bet

like you see guys saying their dj's and so forth yet you see them all undersome influence yet they cant perform most times! myself i have a rule i never even touch alcohol LOL. But thats just the way i see things and i treat my djing with a passion without any drug use!

plus rather use money to buy dj/producing realted stuff thats how tight i am with my money but you got to be to get somewhere.

ive done it a few times at house partys and after partys and Ive always been fine, although there is always that risk of getting into the tune in the headphones so much you forget to mix (danny rampling did this once many years ago). I wouldnt do it at a proper gig, id rather have a few beers, time goes by too quickly when ur mashed!!

however

e > weed for djing, i have real problems when mixing stoned, cant tell 2 tunes apart, get paranoid that everyone on the dancefloor is staring at me etc etc

i can never concentrate on coke. it's the devil. i've spun for a few people while on some shitty rolls, and because they were weak, i could beatmatch pretty well. i guess it just depends.

a big WTF for opening for a metal band though
