I got these b&j videos a while ago - heartbreak, after love, cream, nightfly - and luved em. Very enjoyable stuff. Then i got the beyond time video, sounded similar to the earlier songs, but i still liked it a lot. Then i heard nightclubbing, and to me it sounded too similar to nightfly. Now desire sounds to me very similar to beyond time - similar vocals - same structure, beat is same speed, again it is a good song, but it seems to me they are almost remixing the same good couple of songs for years and it works cause the origionals are so catchy. I love blank and jones but i do not put them at the very top of my list because their songs to me sound almost exactly the same sometimes. When they don't sound the same, ie djs, fans, freaks, and some other songs, i do not like the songs very much. I like B&J songs a lot, but will like B&J even more when they come out with a good song that doesnt sound the same as one of their early hits.

Dumonde....

gets my vote.

Never look back is just an amazing track, so so good, gets me tingly without the use of drugs.

^^^

They will come to Toronto, Canada, OH YES, THEY WILL!!!!!

Oh, and I didn't know they still had candy kids in the U.K.

No offence Dumonde Trancer, but here in Canada, the rave scene is behind the times, and not like what the scene is over in Europe. I however, am a raver. Not a candy kid, but I dress in weird clothes.

Think thats hard to say because you can't really compare it! Blank & Jones had one time so much success that it's not so easy, the record labels expect now more stuff that sells good and that is to bad to say the more commercial way! Dumonde aren't so far but I'm sure as soon as they are on the same famouse level there sound will also change into a more commercial way!

But anyway B&J ruls, wait for there new remix they made, think will premiere really soon! New album will also come this year and the DESIRE video rocks (the one that is spread in the internet is a fake one, pictures are real but sounds is not original!)

dude.. i seriously dont think u can compare both

blank & jones is pure uplifting tunes
dumonde is more hard trance... maybe u want to compare shokk vs dumonde
or scot project vs dumonde

i think that will be easier to compare cause they are both the same type of trance

Hrmm alot of blank and jones fans.. its good to see this!

I love dumonde and think dumonde is a great set of producers! and remixers.. but honestly.. blank and jones have made varieties of productions with unique tracks that incorporate creative composition and so forth.. dumonde in comparison shows a little more simpleness to their tracks.. dumonde is great uplifting dramatic and contrasting! Blank and jones.. pure energy trance baby.. with major melodies that stick and at the same time fit into composition nicely!

CREAM, AFTER LOVE, NIGHTFLY, D F F, BEYOND TIME, SOUND OF MACHINES and now DESIRE!.. Blank and jones all the way!

Definitely agree here!

...but if I had to vote... since I saw Blank&Jones just last friday my vote goes to: Dumonde!

Don`t get me wrong, I still love B&J but they simply weren`t that good last friday...

Blank & Jones are good but theyve been better, and i think a lot of you may disagree with me, but i really find their more recent tracks kinda... cheesy

and when i mean that i mean their synths and melodys just sound very corny, but i guess its just their sound

Blank & jones- 'cream' is one helluva kickass track tho! pure classic!

why thank you! i got it framed next to the signed photo the gave me too

the only thing that i have to say about BnJ is that about half of the tunes of theirs a like are remixes of the originals rather than the actual originals, although i loved nightfly for ages back when it came out . whereas with dumonde when most peopel try n remix it it just kills the tune, maybe coz u cant make it better, or just cant create the same effect (v hard n v euphoric!) with a diffy style?
