I used PCDJ Red; a discontinued dj software. It's just like if you were using physical gear except in the digital sense. There's still the interaction aspect of adjusting the pitch, faders, and volume. Unfortunately there is no eq which why I have that problem in a few of my transitions where you can hear the basslines of both tracks.
On the other hand, there is a new version out (with eq, fx, looping/sampling, scratching) I can use which is way better than this one I'm using now. But I don't like it for one reason and that's because of the indexing method they use for mp3's. Indexing is where they store all your cues, loops and similar data to the mp3. The problem is I never use any of that and my mp3 ends up being bigger in file size and the track length appears longer. I never had that problem the old Red version.
I'm assuming you listened to my mix so what'd you think of it?
