]PLEASE DON'T DO THAT, don't use SquareTrade, you will just lose your money. Squaretrade won't be able to do shit!!! you'll pay $25 dollars for a guy communicating with you and the seller, and then saying "well, if you don't agree on the issue, I won't be able to do shit for you", and that's it. it will frustrate you even more, believe me.
ALSO hold on to that negative feedback - cause the guy will just reciprocate it on you. However, if you were buying records one-by-one from him, and not in a bunch, you will be able to leave feedback for each of those auctions. you can try to persuade him that a whole freaking page of negative feedback will not look very good for him at all - much worse than for you, if he is a constant seller, and you are just on and off - you can simply discard your ebay account, while he needs his reputation as a seller much more!
