yea it looked like he was having a seizure...it appear that there was some foam coming from his mouth, he could have swallowed his tongue during the process and probably could have died from that alone...

yea the only way that can happen is if it's not connected behind the bottom row of teeth... lol

the only danger during a seizure that involves the tongue, is it convulsing and obstructing the airway...but you can't swallow it. the biggest misconception people have about people having seizures is them "swallowing their tongue" and that you should put an object in their mouth to prevent that.

sorry, the thought of seizure reminded me of some old school movies where they put a stick in the guys mouth so he can bit down on it forcing his tongue forward...that's where i got the misconception of swallowing your tongue... another fact or fiction moment for me~

Yeah I learned that the hard way. My friend had a seizure while we were playing some arcade game.

Chris: "Hold his tounge so he doesn't swallow it!"
Me: "With what?!"
Chris: "I dunno, just grab it!!"
Me: "zomg he's gonna choke on his tounge!!" *insert finger* "WHAT THE FUCK HE'S BITING IT!"

Yeah I ended up in the hospital, ****** almost bit my thumb off

my aunt has grand mal seizures in her sleep and i witnessed one when i was 6. gave me nightmares for months. i mean she literally like jerks around screaming with her eyes rolling in the back of her head and she bites her tongue and lips. it's horrible but yea, that's the reason u shouldn't put anything in their mouth...they'll bite down on whatever is in their mouth.
