awesome

sonys fell apart quickly, shit!

stantons sound better, feel better (huge ear hole), last longer, and are way cheaper.

stantons!

at the moment i use pioneer hdj 1000s, but i wouldnt reccommend them. the sound is pretty good, but ive had headphones which are alot more crisp sounding in the past. The problem ive had with these pioneers is that they are actually quite tacky and plasticy.. my left earphone was twisted slightly too far in one direction, which meant that the little plastic stud which was supposed to PREVENT them from breaking, actually prized the joint apart and snapped it. its not a huge problem, ive just stuck it back together.. but these are £140 dj headphones, u would expect that they would last a bit longer than a few months, its not like i was viscious with them. i say the simpler the better, itll be senheiser or sony for me next time.

I like the Pioneers cause of how well they fit your head, and really cling to the ear...but other than that...the sound quality is meh, and as has been said, they get uncomfortable really fast.

lol yeah, but like you said, up close they're plastic as shit

I'd be cool if I was like zabs and I could get new ones after each gig, but for now I'm poor and I need something that lasts.

Oh fuck it... love my Sony's anyway...best cans ever.

Sony MDR-V6

Sound great, very comfortable, sturdy little mofos (simpler = less stuff to break), cheap

Cons - No swivel (I don't use swivels anyway so no biggie for me)

Used by Sasha, PvD, Digweed (I think)

Yeah V6/7506 are dope. They're exactly the same AFAIK except the 7506 have a gold plated jack.

Sennheiser were the king of headphones untill Sony took over the company, now they are kak, although i still say Seinheiser are the best.
