I'm on the fence with the 19+ thing cause I'm 27 and I think partys are a great way to keep the youngin's off the street and running amuck and getting in trouble with the law. I further agree that the minimum age should be 16 just cause if your old enough to drive you should be old enough to stay out to go to a party. Wintergalactic was a great party my only gripe is that there were a lot of drunken jerks at the party, I had the displeasure of dealing with one while Tiesto's set was starting and he tried to pick a fight with me. Lucky for me that I make friends quickly and had a few take care of the guy . The main reason I avoid going to bars is cause booze tends to bring out the aggressive tendancys in people and its why I enjoy the rave/party scene so much more just cause booze is rarely present.
I do agree that there were many younger partiers with attitude there and its my firm belief that one should check their attitude and problems at the door and come to party and most of all party responsibly. Its such irresponsibilites such as kids being fucked up and getting hurt or making asses of themselves that bring down the glaring spot light of the media. Mind you Wintergalactic was some of the finest examples of PLUR I have seen in a party in a while and such examples should be the trend of how things should be, we're there to party and have fun not to spread attitude like proverbial maneure. Just want to send out massive props to Charlie, Lisa and Peter , you's three made the nite so much fun and Peter thanks for your help with that guy who wanted to start in on me. ;-)
