After listening to the entire 2 cd mix by AVB I have to deem this compiliation boring and uninspiring. My main reason for this is because a lot of these tunes sound like each other that gives rise to monotony which I hate. I miss the days when people got creative and produced great trance such as Y Traxx - Mysteryland or Eugina - Salt Tank. They're both great tracks that sound nothing like each other and more enjoyable to listen to than listening to the same elements rearranged a million different ways. Here are the only tracks worth pointing out from cds 1 and 2:
cd1
6)DJ Shah - Beautiful (Glimpse Of Heaven)
7)Niyaz - Dilruba
cd2
2)Fable - Above
4)Kyau vs Albert - Walk Down (nothing remarkable, i just like it for the vocals. Easily mixable with Time of our Lives by PVD)
8)Kyau vs Albert - Kiksu
9)Hiroyuki ODA - Transmigration

Very harsh review but I defintely respect the bluntness of it. I'm gonna give it a listen and post my review as well.

Well, I tried to go thru CD1 and found myself fast forwarding through it. Loving Arms sounds absolutely horrendous. Worst remake to date. Of course my best track on this whole thing is Giuseppe Ottaviani & Marc van Linden - Until Monday. I HATE how he mixed out of Until Monday though. That was sacrilege. He didn't even play a full quarter of that song. TOTAL FTL. 2nd CD is defintely doable but that 1st one makes me wanna blow my brains out. Sounds almost as bad as his Armada Night set.

I dont really like CD2 that much...
Was more of like a ASOT radio show to me...
Also didn't find a "journey". However, there are some very good tracks in CD2 indeed!
