Hey... you are starting to get into Tech Trance... cool!
However, I'm not sure this would qualify as Tech Trance. The stuff I've heard has a much stronger, and more punishing kick (compareably to hard-trance or heavier). Tech-Trance is also not focused as much on a bassline; basslines that I have heard are either very unorthodox, or they are chorused and do not follow typical bass patterns.
This track has a little too much psy in it, IMO, to really be techy. I dunno, I'm a bit of a noob myself to the tech genre. The bassline itself seems to decieve me, however.
Otherwise, this is a solid construction of effects, loops, and even melodies that are so unlike you. I can tell that alot of good energy into this track.
I love the second break... before and after. The strange pads, and the breakbeat itself, a very techy feel to that. You nailed that part well. It's also phreaky too, good-N-nasty melody afterwards.
This is where the track really seems to redeem itself IMO. The truth seems to have been revealed about everything in general. THe melody reminds me of some video-game soundtrack, and I can't think of the name off the top of my head.
For branching off to a different genre, you did remarkably well. Keep it up!
