kicking hard?

i cut it up from a hard house track. then i applied a really wet reverb on it and then played it simultanously with it self on a pitch lower and now reverb. a pretty standard technique ive been using recently fairly often. thanks for stopping by

there are some nice trance elements in the track and the oveall production is fairly well done, but the melodic progression and the instrumentation is not my taste, as well the arrangement is seeming to standard so a lack of energy is missing... thanks for sharing though

thanks for the feedback

yeah. actually the melody progression is this new formula i developed and so far i like the results it has given me. It helps me stay original in melody developement i think, coz i used to stick to the basics of trance too much. Now i decided if its not original... dont bother. I hope ill have as much luck on my next production that shouldnt be until friday. For those of you who i havent reviwed yet ... give me until monday or tuesday. this tracks has already put me far behind in my job. thanks for listening again. this site is the best place to improve in trance.

hey serginka!
never heard the previous version, so I cant compare, but this sounds tight man!

the fx in the beginning is way cool
bass/gate at 00.44 is awesome. pounding.
00.58 That alarm-sound didnt sit very well..
1.12 when you moved down some keys/scales it sounded better.
1.25 The progression chord gives the track a good drive. I was waiting for a shift/alteration on it, but I didnt hear it.
2.50 That kick sounds excellent on my speaker system.
4.35 The "klimax" here came abit sudden I think. I thought it would go abit further before the beat would come. And some announcement, but thats just how I like it.

Overall it sounds tight and very wellproduced and nicely executed, with variations that never made the track boring.

take care!

"mmm interesting guitar huh? electric, acoustic, could you specify?"

I was thinking of a clean electric guitar strumming some chords... the idea just came to my head...

Good beggining, good piercing sounds, I like the balance between the elements. Cool snare and the rest of percussion. Even though the sounds work together, the track has an old feeling (off beat bass is boring)....been there, seen that, if you know what I mean. The drive is good but not comparable to current pro-releases.
I like the acid sounds, the bass sweeps before the break are awesome, now that's really original. The break is empty and nothing special. The second part after the break is much better, but it does get boring...not too much variety.
I think this track has potential, but it needs better arrangement.
Cheers
Effero

Addicted to offbeat basslines

i just have this physiological addiction to offbeat basses, and openhihats. I'll force myself into something new every now and then. But i just really like the bassline here and its evolution throughout the song. however, You're the fourth person to suggest that. The problem is that i go into withdraw symptoms whenever i try: shaky hands, sweating heavily, skin bugs ... etc. I'll evolve one day. thanks for the suggestions, and just let me know if you want me to return the favor on any of your songs.
