i know what they're marketed as, but i've used both and found that they both could hold a groove very well (the m44g just needs to be setup with more exact settings) while the m44g has a bit higher quality, so that's why i recommended it. they're both great carts though

Iv got the m44gs and although they where abit tedious in getting the correct settings for once it was all in place i dont see how they could possible skip. I dont scratch but iv messed around and they didnt skip.
If its in your budget go for the m447 no doubt.

numark has these needles. cx-1 ... im assuming theyre for scratching purposes.

Product Review
Check it out! the cx1 is the part of the tony touch signature series. A heavyweight cartridge designed especially for the rough and tumble of the scratch technician's world. Stable and with an excellent tracking grip in the groove, this is one to look out for.

relativly cheap.
you can find them on htfr for 60$ US.
