I haven't had any smokes until Decadence. That's the only time I had a few cigarettes. I wasn't even tempted to smoke though...I just felt like having a smoke while socializing, so I did. I haven't had a cigarette since leaving the Co-Zo after Decadence.
Congrats!

Miss you! When will I see you again?
Thanks
Not sure when I'll be back in Toronto again. I'm keeping things low-key to make sure my vacation this summer is enjoyable... Though I certainly do miss everyone, perhaps I can sneak in a summer visit

The longest I went cold turkey was about 4-5 months. Nowadays I smoke occasionally. A tip for quitters, if your tempted to have a ciggie, eat instead
^ i don't think encouraging obesity is a good way to stop smoking.
I agree with Raveed that the ultimate test always comes down to socializing with friends. I've 'quit' smoking for at least a year now, but when i'm with friends who smoke i'm tempted to have 1-2...although that is the ONLY time i ever have one. And its very very hard to break that habit

Anyone else quit recently?
Good for you. That's a hard thing to do and im glad you did it.

The last time I had a cigarette was November 10, 2004. I was a chain-smoker, 2 packs-a-day, for 10 years. Once I truly wanted to quit, it was not very hard to stay away.
I understand that cutting down is a big accomplishment, but you need to take the next step and quit completely.
It feels SO good to be free from those nasty things.
