Well yeah, Melbourne isn't great for trance either - it's more of a house/progressive town.

Perhaps check out www.streetraves.com and see if anything there takes your fancy, or just start a topic in The Scene's Melbourne forum. I'm sure that someone there could help out.....

Yeah, altitude is the same place that used to be uptop bar - haven't been there since it's changed, but the music on friday nights used to be pretty sweet.

If you're in the mood for some harder trance, Bass station @ CBD is just insane on friday nites, and sundays @ viper on chapel also goes off.
