Was a great nailbiting 3rd period; very exciting!

Now we just need MTL and CGY to pick it up!!

Redwings are my favourite team so I'm sad today...

As much as I love them though they are playoff chokers, no excuse for being the top team in the league and going out in the first round.

I've still got my pistons though, and I guarantee they're not going out in round one!

I don't think Detroit are chokers, Edmonton just wanted it more they did.

I am sad too Josh, but I don't think they are playoff chokers.. it sucks that they got put out in the first round by a team like the Oilers but at the same time, they have also probably won the cup more times in the last 15 years than most other teams. (that is why it is disappointing to see them out first round plus they were first place in the league). We as fans expect so much of them so when something like this happends when we are expecting to win without any problems it just pisses us off more!

The problem with detroit was they could not match the speed/intensity of the oilers.


Once edmonton got that first goal in the third and the building just exploded i knew it was over. It is very hard to stop them when they bust their ass like that

hate detroit, so happy edmonton took them out...but i'm a calgary fan, and game 7 at the sattledome means by by anahiem, and i have no doubt they'll take down edmonton (thanks to kipper and iginla, they'll need some other guys to step up though)
