the hoes at the BT show actually went in the same taxi with bt and his manager (i think)... i'm sure it wasn't for bt... he has a kid and all... but still.. they did go in the taxis (there were 2 taxis).

newayz,back to max show...i juss hope that the Max area iz roped off so that the hoochiez wont make it into the deckz area.but u can't predict everytingz.when he waz at tha Red rm not v.long ago,tha hoochiez wanted him,an he waz all 4 it.well,,if max wantz tha hoochiez, then what can u do?

a. im not a fan of plush from past personal experiences, and less so after hearing some of these stories (of course i take them with a grain of salt, no offense meant )

b. i am a fan of max's work

c. my gf is in town from vernon with my kid for 1 week before she goes back up to stay with her mom for 3 weeks or so, because she has no where to live for a month while she moves into a new place, and this show is in the middle of that one week.

undoubtedly, i'd be hard pressed to to convince myself and her to go.

alot of people are saying that MAx's new track CRANK is one of his best ever. The man still likes it dirty!

Max Graham seems to be all over Yoshitoshi of late, and this new release should be just that as he delivers ‘Crank’. On remix duty is the duo DJ Simi & Masterkeys.

The original is a dirty slab of huge synths and cranking acid melodies that are used to devastating effect throughout. A very subtle breakdown with light drums brings the mood down low but when the synths and the gritty acid hook are presented without the bass, the effect is huge. This has big room tune written all over it.

Following up is DJ Simi & Masterkeys with a tribal affair that is laden with gorgeous percussion while a dirty, low-end synth stab retains the quality of the original. This mix keeps things a little less hectic with hypnotic melodies and the single squelching acid stab though still a lot of fun.

This is a cranking (pun intended) release from Max and the mix compliments the bundle nicely.

Rating: 8 / 10.
