Please dont even compare tiesto to S&D. Tiesto's mixing, track selection are horrible. S&D are amazing!!!!!!!!!!

Compare Tiesto to Jules, that is a better comparison.

Can't Compare

You can't compare the two. Digweed has given me many headaches over his years in twilo. I remember is one year anniversary. It was like celebrating the 365th day of a toothache. TIESTO WINS!!

So I guess i can't say to much about comparing the two I was just wondering what you guys (and girls) have to say.

Sheez this kinda question is only asking for trouble...besides how can you compare two different kinda DJ's ? It's like saying who is better ? Tiesto or Q-Bert ? Tiesto is trance, Sasha and Digweed are progressive. I guess you like Tiesto so it's all good, but when you say that S&D's stuff is shit it just shows you have no idea what the fuck you are talking about. For arguments sake i'll say that i have more respect for Sasha and Digweed because they are innovaters, they are constantly pushing the scene...unlike Tiesto who has been playing the same kinda music.

ps. i'm not even going to comment on their technical skills because anyone who has heard them will agree that S&D are far more superior on the decks then Tiesto.

Apples and Oranges.

They are both amazing. It just depends on what mood I'm in.

beatfreak i would hope that the both of the rooms where next to eachother. and everytime i hear a lousy song i'll just hop right into the next room... i respect all 3 of them i love uplifting but if you were to ask me who would i go see i would surely choose Sasha & Digweed. but if ARMIN or FERRY where there too i rather be where ARMIN & FERRY are haha.. ok i got kinda off topic

Tiesto, for me.
I have to say that I'm pretty disappointed in Tiesto, he's become a lot more progressive, and his sets are pretty boring nowadays, I think. Still, if I had to choose between him and Sasha/Digweed, he definitely wins.

I dislike Sasha/Digweed and think that their music is very boring. When I listen to "dance music", I want something that energizes me, fills me with emotions, gives me goosebumps, makes me raise my hands in the air, and puts a smile on my face. I can't stand dance music that is weak, slow, mellow, or doesn't have a melody.

This is my opinion, and yours may differ from mine.

I second that! I believe that Sasha and John Digweed are amazing DJ's and all, but progressive is really boring to me. I just don't see much enjoyment in it. I did fall in love with one S&JD CD
Northern Exposure: ExpeditionsVol.1
I like the disc one

man wtf is this thread!!!

Umm tiesto trackselectino sucks and his mixing is bad! Except his 7 hour set that he pulled off. that was great!!! Finally some new songs and when tiesto plays progressive its the CHEESE progressive music. like new order and shit thats like 9 months old!

if i went to an event and both were there i gotta go with my Boys!!! Sasha and Diggers!!!! Digweed is the best. ******'s mixing is soo sweat and his style is unquie too. download diggers sets from dj mixes. they have him on there all of the time. sometimes sasha is there but its rare.

I couldn't compare them total different styles they play. I prefer Tiesto a lot more. Sasha & Diggers I've never really liked them at all, I don't give a fuck if someone wants to flame this because its my view , I find the majority of their sets boring, very very very boring Prog, as producers they can make some good stuff the two of them, djing wise though I don't like them, but I'm very selective to who I listen to with Prog House Nick Warren, Sander Klienenberg, and Steve Lawler impress me much more then S&D, they spin quality Prog plus their sets have more life to them.
