You are welcome... yes, you can do it the way you mentioned it which is the easy way out but it does sound good. Now if you tried to find a bassnote thats slighty off but in the same chord progression, you have got it going on. like the same way youd mess around with the oscillators where osc 1 is in octave 4 and osc 2 is in octave 3 for example... slightly off but it adds spice to it.

after spending a whole night working on a rank1 remix i have come to the conclusion that the subtractor does not suck at all. infact it's great. i will soon post a sample to show you what i mean.
