Thanx (I think) for digging this up . i say i think, cause now I have my work cut out for me. I've not seen this before now, but it has inspired me. I posted once b4 in the original new face plate thread that I have long wanted to paint my dex a different colour, but I am such a lazy f@#ker i have never done anything about it.

As things stand now, one of my dex is gutted with parts lieing everywhere (sort of). I am in the process of ordering the LEDs, just got to find the right pricing. The pitch LED has proven the most difficult to find, however I think I have finally sourced it - waiting on a reply. Could just ket a kit off ebay, but it's cheaper with just the LEDs.

Need to decide what colour to paint. Going with blue LEDs coz they look cool. I did consider green, or yellow but blue looks best I think. i'm thinking about metalic blue paint too, but may be too much blue. Still undecided. As for the LED's under the platter, I'm working out how to do a chaser effect and trying to see if it will work.

This will take some time, as I'm a povo student, but hopefully the sacrifice will be worth the wait. No more mixing for a while then.
