Well I took your advice. Popped a vic and had some jack and coke. (i dont have any pot ) and listened. It was great, my only complaint is the very last song, which I didn't care for at all. IMO you should have ended it at track 10. Track 9
For any who wants a similar style mix, I just listened to this today also:
I got baked and had a reasonably long busride this evening, so I listened to your mix in full. I really liked the nature of the tracks, the opener was nice. Ironic that I was sitting on the bus for that Get On The Bus track...haha. And I love Point Of View aswell...seems to reflect your situation when approaching this mix
The flow of the mix was good, but sometimes I felt like it was compromised by mixes that were a little late? I'm not sure, cause none of the mixes are bad at all, just I feel some of them bring the energy down just a tad between tracks. Thats my only issue, I also heard one minor slip but it was nothing bad at all and you caught it in an instant.
I enjoyed this most because I had not heard most of those tracks, and because it was a departure from what I usually expect from RJT, unlike apologies I knew you'd bounce back with something fresh!

i love both of those records,
I WILL DOWNLOAD THIS !

Holy damn, this is one of the best TA mix I've heard this year. I'm usually not a fan of deep house because it's usually very monotone and progresses slowly only to provide that chill effect. Although chill will always have a place in the scene, it's just not something I would listen to if I want an instant sonic rush. This mix however did the opposite, it fuses the deep house sound with shots of adrenaline found in more popular forms of house.
The intro although weird initially, provided a good launching pad for the assault to come. The tracks not only had subtle energy in them, but the funkiness level is just right to please most casual listeners of house as well as hardcore house junkies alike. The transitions are not only spot on, but it makes you anxious for what's coming around the corner. This is perhaps one of the hardest things for a DJ to do, grab the listener's attention and not let go. I'm a melody and bassline person as you can tell if you've listened to my works and for a deep house album to provide this much lucious melody is very rare and I absolutely love it! Even the best songs in the world cannot create this type of magic without the right layout and special touch and this mix definitely has it.
The only complaint I have is the ending which deviates from the overall sound of the mix.
This is my first time listening to your work and I am officially a fan. Very very impressive mix to a very critical listener.

I haven't listened to this but Jimpster's remix of Da Ride is so fuckin good. It's a perfect example of the type of house that I'm playing now.
Looking forward to listening to this when I get home.

Thanks for the bump bro!
I've been working on something new , it's not really finalized yet, just playing around, but I'm really hoping that the next one I put out is something really special... Unfortunately I'm also moving this month, and will be homeless for a couple weeks, so it's not looking like it'll be finished until the end of the month/early September...
In any event, I've been working really hard on the edits/masters of a few tracks for the new one, and hopefully we'll have something out there by around the end of the month!
