wow okay so im looking at the rane serato scratch live stuff right now. If I am understanding this right you put these special rane vinyl records on your tables or your special rane cds in your cdjs and the computer will recognize the record or cd and allow you to assign a track from your computer to your tables!!!! Is that right? So once you put the 12" or cd on your tables thats it you are ready for anolog manipulation of the digital music archive you have on your computer without ever having to swap out cds or records all night?

Tell me if im getting this right because either they have invented a very powerful piece of equipment ...or i just invented it...lol.

If thats right that is exactly what I need!!!!!!! Havent looked at the price but I know its on my wish list.
holy sh!t

Heh, thats exactly what I did. Except I went with the FS 2.0 instead.

Let's face it nothing beats a trip to the record shop.

There are tunes that are vinyl only releases and there are tunes that are digital only.

Thats true, never knew that before, was dissapointed when there are some songs I couldn't buy as mp3 and vice versa for records, then again it shouldn't matter I can play them all. Another bonus is that, I don't need too much space for this setup vs 2TT, 2CDJ and Mixer.

You will have a huge library most vinyl jocks won't plus you will have skill most cd djs don't (If you can manually pitch bend you can mix on anything that has a pitch control.)
It's like a bedroom djs dream come true really.
You can now take your trilions of mp3s and grab them and cue them like records!
What more could you ask for?

Absolutly nothing. Oh wait, maybe some more cash for mp3/records.

I don't understand those people that sell their turntables to by cdjs...itll save them money buying serato scratch or FS and they'll have an even bigger library.

Cool... I just downloaded and played with it a bit. The software is intimidating - but I am a complete beginner.

Wondering whether I should go ahead learning this or not?? Learning this would take a couple of months fo su looking at it now...
