WOW WOW WOW!!
This is going to be an experince I will never forget! I am so glad that I went!
After getting lost in SD trying to find the 5. Robert , Erick and I cross the border a little after 2:30. With odd looks from people comming back we grab a cab in TJ.
The Cab Driver is the slowest Mofo on the planet and charges us 35 for the ride. Needless to say he did not get a tip.
We Arive at the Club Maya a little after 3 and walk right in with no problems. The place was packed and the music was going off. Tiesto was all ready on and Tearing the place up ( I have nooooo idea how he got there that fast!)
Since Tiesto was all ready on Robert and I make a Bee Line to a spot on the dance floor witch happens to be the Beach.
The beach is packed with sooo many people. It was hard to Move and dance. People started crowd surfering. Getting droped on their heads and then getting back up to do it again. It was Nuts!
Tiesto played a very solid hard 3 hr + hr set! WOW. It was the "old" I am not messin around Tiesto. So much better energy and flow then his set in SD. Soooo much better.
A little after 4:30 or so the sun starts to come up and I get chills all over my body. Here I was in Mexico at my first out of the US party I have been too with Tiesto the Dj who I first saw that got me into the scene and the sun was comming up. What a moving yet amazing Experince.
Instead of slowing down Tiesto kept tearing it up! A little after 6 he is done but comes back to give the crowd one more. "Trafffic"
After Tiesto was done I hit my wall hard and Jesse walked me back to the hotel the group got. Since the club was one the beach I had to go. So I run to the water and walk back. On our way back we see a Ford SUV parked outside of the club with people surronding it. It reminded me of a scene where girls where trying to get closer to memebers of a boy band. In the SUV was Tiesto. He had the mexican police excsort him out. Mortorcycles and all
On the way back to the hotle. Jesse was showing me all the clubs that where in and around the area. And they where all massive. Each a few stories tall and HUGE! It reminded me of Miami but more poor and dirty. I was Amazed. In Mexico they go all out they do not mess around. You are not walking into a old wearhouses or theaters. You are walking in to a whole new experince.
Back at the hotle it was time to try and take a nap on the peice of wood they called a bed. But everyone came back and it was time to pack the Armada and head back over to the US.
Good times good times. Robert got out to look at the street shops on the side. On the way back he takes off his shirt and acts like one of the guys who wanted to dust of your windows Even the workers thought he was a crackhead! Sooo FUNNY!!!
Finally back in SD it was time to crash at John's room for a few hours and then head back over to LA to get Saturday Night started
Man I had such an amazingggg Time over in Mexico. That is something I will never ever forget!
Picts up soon!
