That ERA is dead in Toronto ... damn here we go again. It was cool at first when it was just the Orginal White Glove Crew (which started in 93 or 94) and Blue & Yellow bandz, but it was out of hand when the other colours came in and soon after 1000s upon 1000s of ravers were doing it. (In 1999 - 2000) Then all the liquid kids realize liquiding was lame and took of their gloves and stop doing it. *Its more of a reason to hate each other and snob out strangers* Nowadays it seem like the US are getting into it .. since their partyin' is getting more mainstream there. *They are going through what I call ... our 98 - 2000 scene*

*After awhile you'll noticed Liquid kids ... liquid the same patern over and over ... all night long and the only thing they do ... is bite each other stlyez*

Liquiding is cool if your an ELITE, but if you NOT good at it ... LORD HAVE MERCY UPON YOU. You look like the biggest retard with white gloves. Out of 1000s of liquid kids ... only a hand full have impressed me back in the days.

Now Liquid Pop doesn't really impress me or grabb my attention. I've seen tooooooooooo many Liquid Kids throught out the years.

For the Elite....so what your saying is if someone is NOT REALLY good or the BEST they should not bother doing it.....that is a moronic statement all together.....

And just to inform you Liquid was born in NYC...at the Tunnel night club....thats a fact.....

Did I say Liquiding was born in Toronto ? Read you MORON !!!
Liquiding was born from breakdancers in NYC ... noticed why some break dancers wear white gloves back in the days ? The idea was taken from them and expanded into our scene. Liquiding was developed in the UK almost 10 years ago and then to Toronto shortly after.

Honestly, if you were here in 99 to 2000 and saw how SNOBBY the liquids kids were in Toronto. Every beginner that starts liquiding at RAVES *Very small amount of ppl liquid at clubbs* would get made fun of and dissed up HARD. It was to the point were most of the Elites would walk up to you ... copy your moves and laugh at you ...RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE !!! PPL use to train at home on K or Shrums until they got to the point where they were 100% smooth to save themself from this ordeal.

Thats why it's played out here and barley anyone does it now. Even from today ... hardly anyone wears Phat pants and baseball caps. Trance has a bigger turnout in mature crowds and for the RAVE side it's been pretty dead all this year. Only Jungle and FunkBreaks are only type of parties that are have big turnout in the rave scene.

Depends what styles are incorporated.. LPE does liquid-popping with other styles I have not seen yet. And he doesn't wear white gloves. it's a matter of function not fashion

and about ELITE: wow, what mighty opinion you have. can you even do it?

EVERYTHING MOVES IN CYCLES ... this has become just another LAME Liquid thread. I had no intrest in liquiding and always found it pretty lame. The Liquid Kids that did catch my attention were pretty solid and those were the only ones I gave respects to. LPE is very good from what I've seen. The one video he's liquiding (next to the arcade machine) was very impressive. Smooth, perfect transitions from one flow to another and perfect speed.

Not to brag and all ... but I've always been eye opener at parties for my dancing. Due to my skillz from being a sponserd skater when I was 14. And yes I can liquid but just the basic and thats all I wanted to do with that element. I would liquid when the melody kicked in ... and when the tracks starts popin' again I would continue with dancing instead. I don't mind ppl who liquid at parties but I can't stand ppl who just liquid all night. LPE got my respects b/c he combos with liquiding into poping to insure more intresting moves.

Back in the days ... alot of parties would install black lights everywhere for the liquid kids. Thats the main reason why they wore white gloves.

Liquid popping sucks big time! I don't see no difference between Break Dance and liquid.
Trance music doesn't suit for Liquid so i'm not interested!!!
Instead at raves we have this ppl moving their arses with this incredible dance which i don't know the name of it. But i'm definetly sure its not Liquid cuz i've seen that Eric guy dancing on a video.

Does any1 knows the dance i'm talking about? and whats it called?
I know i'm not very informative about it but maybe some ppl will understand, its hard to describe.

Dude, chill. What is the whole point of this? Why start an argument and where exactly did it come from. If you do feel this thread is lame then don't take part. This is exactly what's wrong with the scene today. What ever happened to just going out and having fun? I'm sorry that I'm not an Elite so I guess I shouldn't be doing it. I'm really tired of all this.

Hey Boytrance, you're from Toronto too so I'd definately be seeing you at a club sometime with all the insane events we've been having here. I haven't got a chance to hit too many clubs lately because I've been so busy with exams and work. But Wintergalactic...hoo boy.....!

Liquid together? LOL, not if you want a good laff. I never said I was any good at it LOL. From the sound of SOS, we'd better not Besides I never do it unless I'm truly wrecked, then I don't care. I remember a time when I was at a club here and I can't remember what I took (a lot of everything really) but damn was it good....I was 'waving' for a good few hours LOL. I had almost every one on the dance floor that was around me coming up to me and shaking my hand going "you're absolutely crazy man!!" LOL, I could imagine now a lot of people got some good laffs in, but I didn't care I had an amazing time. One guy was REALLY messed up and came up to me and said that I was the best dancer he've ever seen (and he was being serious!! ) LOL...ah, yes good times. Anyways I couldn't stop dancing for 6 or 7 hours nonstop and friends kept coming up to me on the dance floor giving me water every half hour because they were worried that I would dehydrate.

i want that new lpc video bad. when i get some money i'll order it.

i find it VERY helpful to watch the best dance. it kinda rubs off on me and find myself imitating and innovating their moves. if i lived in europe i would prolly suck ass.

btw is there ANYONE better than LiquidPopEric? that guy is inhuman.
