It's a readers poll which was voted for by the readers of DJ magazine back in Sept/Oct last year.
You were able to vote on the net but I wouldn't imagine many Americans voted because I don't think you guys in the USA get DJ mag, it's British. It's an OK read but it's got nothing for TA's really, it's heavily biased towards house and prog.
I certainly wouldn't be losing too much sleep over what DJ mag readers think are the world's best
