i'm not sure what to pick; it all comes down to the vinyl mode... i dunno maybe i can get used to the cdj cue mode- it just really sucks! especially after only knowing vinyl.

however i can definately see how having 1 cdj would suck.

what would you guys pick???

you can easily get 1x 800 for $570 (with sihpping) thats how much mine from agi were.
so two would come out to $1240

would love 2 800's but...man so expensive! i think it might come down to 2 200's just because i am realizing that i don't see myself buying much more vinyl ($$$) and will want to mix between my new tracks which will be digital, so i def need 2 of something

kind of entertaining the 800s idea... an extra 550 bucks it would be... is the vinyl mode really worth it?????? or let me ask this, if i get a gig with 1000s will it have been worth being able to practice on 800s instead of 200s? no, right?

The 800s dont have 6% pitch mode like the 200s and the 1000.
If you prefer vinyl feel get serato if you are not really bothered get 2 cdj 200s .
It's a great product.
Cuing is easy and accurate you just hit play on the one.
Another thing is that you will buy them for 320 each and you can sell them for around 290 each when you want to upgrade
I have a friend who has had his 100s for years.
Just whatever you do - be practical -buy 2.
