he has like 3-4 phases he announces throughout the night. when he played in sf he went from 1:30am-1:30pm, i got there at around 3 and stayed till about 9. when i got in it was more funky house, by the time i left (out of exhaustion) he was playing very progressive deep house. in retrospect i wish i stayed till the end or at least went for 4 hours, 4 hour break (had ins and outs), and back in for another 4. that weekend was tenaglia and digweed back to back, so suffice to say i didn't get much sleep and my recollection of the night isn't great. i just remember the music got better and better the later it went. really the only reason i left is cause i went out for a cigarette break streetside at 9 in the morning and it was really trippin me out how it was all sunny and bright out and people were moving about the city like it was a weekday.
