HIA - Polar Sequences is so lush and brilliant, 76:14 is still the landmark in Ambient works imo. Namlook gets too spacey with some of his works for me at times but still genius. Eno often gets overlooked, same with Aphex Twin (a nutter but still genius)

SOME AMBIENT MASTERPIECES (in par with the global communications album which is trully stunning)


ULRICH SHNAUSS- "A Strangely Isolated Place"(if you don't have this...GO GET IT NOW!!!)
ULRICH SCHNAUSS- "Far-Away Trains Passing By" (Amazing as well.)

BOLA- "Soup" (Beatifull, Dreamy, Organic,Melancholic a classic IDM/Ambiebt album in general by a less known IDM artist)

BOLA- "Fyuti" (Stunning as well.The last album "Gnayse" is also excellent)

AUTECHRE- "Amber" (I hope you allready have this! Another classic album)

AUTECHRE- "Incanabula" (First album by Autechre and very emotional.Nothing to do with the later souless releases)

ORBITAL- "In Sides" (The most "ambient" album by orbital and the best in my opinion. Synths, pianos, violins,voices and a range of strange samples create this symphonic electronic masterpiece)

AROVANE- "Atol Scrap" (This is like the "ambient" works by aphex twin but much more emotional in my opinion. Just very beautiful music)

AROVANE- "Lilies" (Even more emotional tear-jerking ambience)

BOARDS OF CANADA- "Music Has the Right to the Children" (This is very strange ambient music.A classic album)

BOARDS OF CANADA- "The Campfire Headphase" (Very Nice album.Listen)

BIOSPHERE- "Substrata" (Dark Ambient by a norwegian guy. Inspired by "Hollow earth theories - "Hyperborea" and stuff.Nice)


APHEX TWIN- "Selected Ambient Works volumes 1 and 2" (Classic Albums)

STEVE ROACH-
"Structures from Silence" (Very very nice ethereal music)

BRIAN ENO- "Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks" (Not the best album by Eno but a good one to start)

VANGELIS- "Opera Sauvage" (A late 70s electronic album by vangelis and one of my all time favorite albums ever!!!Perfect synth space music)

LANTERNA- "Highways" (If you like atmospheric music you'll fall in love with this one)
