I loved Episode One. In my opinion i think it exceeds half life 2. Best 4 hours i spent on a video game.

Looks stunning too especially with HDR.

yeah, it's short. The commentary really did increase the lifespan though, I definitely feel like it was worth the money now.

you can put half-life 2 on your comp (or any other source engine game) and cut off a major portion of the downloding time because then you already have the source engine files. Then it's just like a 700mb download.

i bought it at the store, just because i didn't want to go through the download, and wait a while (it took me <5 minutes to install); i also just like to have the cd
alternatively, yes, you can download it through steam; my friend downloaded it and it took him 30-40 minutes

You can pre-load the game before it actually comes out. So you could play the game earlier with preloading than if you went out and bought it.

Pretty good game but damn short. I played the game on hard so i get more for my moneys worth. The last sequence in the game gave me some headaches. BTW, i think dr. kliner is becomming more like a dr. breen but wants everybody to start well, you get the picture.

Best line in the game - "Is Dr. Kliner telling everybody to get busy?" (I think thats the right line)
