buy your own copy of cosmo, read all the quizzes and shit to know the right answers, ace all the tests and be deemed the perfect boyfriend. then you will be on easy street.

it's all about Jane Magazine. it's raunchier. they title articles like, "how to tell off a slut without looking trashy" or "how to give a killer blow job" or "the real low down on hollywood skanks like lindsay lohan"
lol it's classy and trashy all in one, if that makes sense. you'd have to have read it to understand.

wow, really? i haven't read one of those magazines in ages, but all i remember them being about was "101 Ways to Please Your Man!" or "69 Oral Sex Tips to Make Your Man Melt!" or "10 Guaranteed Ways to Add Excitement to Your Bedroom Time!" ... they just always seemed like a ridiculous instruction guide to keeping your "man" happy in bed.
i always thought the magazines that encouraged cheating most were the mens magazines like Maxim, Stuff, FHM, etc...
most magazines are terrible though. the only ones i even bother reading nowadays are the music or art related ones like DJ Mag or Photoshop User, heh.
I like when MAXIM does a clip out for guy to give to their gf. It's an article that looks like it's from Cosmo but it has things that guys would really want from their gf's.

yea i agree. i don't read cosmo or marie claire any more. they're cheesy.
i like vogue and vanity fair for all the latest fashion info and because of the photography/ads in them. and i LOVE the interior design magazines. also like FHM and Maxim. i like to look at the chicks because it motivates me to work out. haha

this thread reminds me of that part in trainspotting, with the conversation between tommy and spud and tommy's g/f is holding out b/c "she didn't want their relationship to start on a physical basis as that is how it would be principally defined from then on in". then tommy goes on to explain how she read it in cosmopolitan.
those magazines are really mindless, give women the wrong idea and are unrealistic. i barely read them, except on long plane flights (8+ hours). i am not a big magazine reader, except when in the dentists office, then it is celebrity gossip time.....

yea cuz ur too embarrassed to buy those yourself right? hahah yea i sneak in an article or two in the grocery store checkout line myself
i guess i mainly love browsing through magazines because of the photography and ads...i dont really read the articles unless it's something really appealing to me.

i dont get embarrassed to buy them, i just know i can read them at a doctors office or the checkout for free. those things can add up, $3-4 a mag and the reading is done in an hour....
