I guess we should name it the Podcast Forum because otherwise it just won't be the same thing.

Podcast is cheap for TA to have, TA should have its own online Radio.

TA once did have it's own online radio, but why bother when there are now so many other online radio stations who have more time to dedicate to it, more bandwitdh and multiple channels to listen to.

And as Mr Mystery stated earlier, we have a DJ forum on tranceaddict where new sets are posted daily, there is no point in having a TA podcast.

i would spin a set of experimental electro and have all the kiddies calling it trance. It would be a monumental acheivement and the end of genre whoring.I hate pod casts though

well... a "podcast" can be anything... a liveset... an interview... just songs played... essentially like anything you might hear on the radio, just downloadable, and not restricted to a specific timeslot like conventional radio. you can dl it, and listen to it whenever.

TA really doesnt need a podcast. dj sets are just fine on their own. there are already online radio stations in existence, and theres no reason dling a whole podcast "show" if you only may like a handful of songs...

overall, its do-able, but not very practical....

there are only two instances that i could think of offhand where a podcast might be advantageous.

stuff like interviews w/ djs or producers. (if they were TA exclusive or something)

or producer do-it-yourself type things. like "if youre trying to achieve this kind of sound" kind of things... and then there is audio right there of before, during, and after of the sound youre trying to achieve. or this or that tweak can make productions sound more polished as a whole...

get what i mean?

but either way, this would be a matter for the production forum to discuss, and not like a full fleged TA podcast....
