I find the cue system on the Denon to be a pain in the ass.. The Pio's are super easy. I never did like the spinning platter to actually play on, cool idea, but never liked it, so Pio wins for me there..

The 200's are solid units IMO..

Agreed 100%. Denon's are alight; but Pioneer's are so user-friendly.

Useless in my personal opinion. The jog wheel of the Pioneers is so much more intuitive.

Well it's not so useless to people who have been playing out since before you were in diapers...

Yeah the original Denon rack-mount CD players had pitchbend buttons, before Pioneer even thought of doing CD decks. Same goes for the Denon cueing system - just happens that Pioneer came up with a system that seems more logical to most, but some still find the Denon method easier.

In fact Denon pretty much invented digital audio, so they're not all that stupid

Sometimes I'd rather use pitchbend buttons, sometimes I'd rather use a jog wheel but with the Denon you get the best of both worlds.

But yeah I'd still go for the CDJ200. The Denon's also got loads of fx, but you've gotta use the jog wheel for them (much like the fx on the CDJ100 or the jog fx on the EFX500) which I find a bit useless for any of them apart from the filters.
