omg pls don't let me lose complete faith in you

you are saying helmets are BAD?! what about having another person with you on the bike and no helmet on their head either? and what if god forbid there's an accident and they DIE and you don't, how will you live the rest of your life thinking that the helmet might have saved their life?

of course helmets arent bad. I think everyone should wear one. But, should that be a law? Absolutely not. Why? because adults can make their own decisions about personal safety. If an adult falls off a bike without a helmet the only person getting hurt is himself.

Im not against seatbelts, helmets etc. because they DO save lives. What im against is making it a criminal or traffic offence to not wear one when the only victim is themselves.

Im not someone who believes that the government should be in the business of saving everyone from themselves.

After all, thats what churches are for LOL

I'll live just fine knowing it was their decision not to put a helmet on, not mine.

i would have to disagree with you

i come from a place where every second person owns a bike, and i've seen 15-16 year old kids drive them without a helmet, having a helmet attached on a side of their bike because it's not cool to wear one apparently unless you are riding a proper racing bike

i've also been a witness to at least 3 biking accidents where the driver was severely injured because they didn't wear a helmet

i equate heltmets to seat belts.

It should still be up to you to wear one.
