DJ Cammy makes me sick. he releases his "tracks" which are simply sped up versions of other peoples work, with random sounds thrown in.
that's right, he actually RELEASES them. as in. has a record deal... wtf...
he looks like a right chav too.
he needs to be shot in the head. and i mean that.

Love it that the key of the bassline doesn't match the key of the melody. What key is the melody anyways? ;P
Oh guys guys guys - where in the music bible does it state that 'thou shalt not have instruments in thy song which do not harmonise with thy bassline'?
Other than that, I think his stuff is hilarious but dont get me wrong - those playschool melodies? THAT ghastly croak of a voice? I can't do those things. Not like he does and not without being sincere or embarassed about my work.
So if you happen to be a skanger making music out of nursery rhymes, blips and bleeps and long samples ripped 'as is' from other songs or films, go right ahead and more power to you for being able to get away with it.
I cant even put my voice on record without cringing - so if he can hes one step beyond me.
It is easy to say 'man I could do that easily and become a pro hip hop producer if thats all it takes!' but the truth of the matter is:
1) He has sincerity in his music which you wont have trying to throw together a tune just because you 'can.' Sincerity counts for alot in music. Its why 'Bohemian Like You' by the Dandy Warhols was a cool tune up until vodaphone bought it for their bloody TV adverts. And why 'In Between Days' by the Cure was an awesome tune up until it started appearing on Peugeot ads.
2) You make music because you love it and presumably he does the same. So everyone is happy. Incuding this dude.
3) People in this industry and every other industry get EXACTLY what they deserve. No more. No less. If we wanted fame, notoriety, acclaim from the hip hop crowd, we would not be trying to produce trance and we would be making more efforts towards those ends.
So really everyone is happy and doing what they want to do. And what they know how to do best. We just happen to be happier by ridiculing this guy and how DIY his choons are.

This guy will probably commit suicide when he finds out about this thread. I was concidering to email him to notify him, but that would be uber-nazi-satanic-or-something. I am ashamed for having these thoughts.
Anyhow lets look at the bright side of things, surely you must have learnt something from his tutorial?
I learned def people can make music as well.

I don't think this guy is deaf, he's more likely to have down syndrome or something.
