damn. the twins don't need another lights out middle reliever to shut the door between the 6th to 8th innings for joe nathan to come in and notch the save in the 9th. i see a bright future for this guy. maybe it's just his competition.

some good numbers for a middle pitcher. we should all expect him to lower his walk ratio. 17 walks in 24 innings is a bit much.

The walks were the result of elbow tendinitis. 75% of those walks came in the weeks he had that injury. He's been invited to Instructional League, because they concider him a valuable work in progress. Next year, he will have his first full season in Beloit (A). Then we will see what he's capable of
